The Shamrock 14’s swept the Bay State Lightning this past Sunday in Whitman by scores of 13-6 and 7-6.
The Shamrocks starting pitcher in Game 1 was Aiden Glennon. The hard throwing right hander went the distance to pick up the victory, striking out 5. James Dolan (2-5) got the offense started with a 2 run home run in the top of the third. Tommy Smith and Jonathan Baar each added 3 hits, while Dolan, Glennon and Will Morganelli each had 2 hits.
Game 2 ended in fine fashion as Mark Shields (2-2) had a walk off RBI single to give the Rocks a 7-6 victory. James Dolan continued to stay hot at the plate going 4-4 in game 2.
